Q:Are Nail Jam gels suitable for both beginner and professional nail technicians?
A:Yes, our Nail jam products are for professional use only - but they are also suitable for qualified beginners (especially our Jams with thicker consistency, like for example nylon builders allowing slower movement). With purchasing our products you agree you’re qualified professional or student.
Q:Which curing lamps are compatible with Nail Jam UV and LED gels?
A:Our gels have been tested with the SunUV range of lamps as relatively inexpensive, and efficient, allowing you to try our gels without the additional cost of an additional expensive lamp. We advise using 48W dual wavelength PROFESSIONAL USE lamps with minimum of 365 + 405 nanometers to provide proper full curing of our products. Less powerful output lamp may cause improper curing. We highly recommend replacing your UV/LED lamps regularly due to diodes losing their power and degradation over time and testing them regularly.
Q: Do I need to apply HEMA and Di-HEMA products differently?
A: Yes, HEMA free products need to be applied differently due to absence of HEMA which works like a “sticking” agent. Nails need to be fully prepped prior to application - instructions how to use our products could be find in product description and in our tutorials on Instagram and TikTok.
Q:Can Nail Jam hybrid builder Jams be used on natural nails, nail extensions, or both?
A: Yes, all our gels have been formulated to be used on natural nails - as strengthening layer/overlays , for extensions - on forms, tips, dual forms and also toe nails reconstructions (clear jam which allows to monitor nail health underneath) due to their safe formulation
Q:Are your builder and color gels HEMA-free and safe for sensitive clients?
A: Yes. we understand allergies and allergic reactions can occur anytime and can be caused by anything but we tried to minimise the risk as much as we possibly could. That’s why we completely removed HEMA, Di-HEMA,TPO, IBOA and IBOMA from our formulations. Also our base coat is free from 22 most irritating chemicals.
Q:Do Nail Jam products require a specific primer or base coat for optimal adhesion?
A: We highly recommend our HEMA,Di-HEMA,TPO,IBOA,IBOMA Free Hard base for strong adhesion. We recommend to “massage” small amount of base into natural nails reconstructions plate and then applying a normal layer to ensure product will sink into natural nails and cure for 60 seconds.
Q:Are your gels suitable for use in high-volume salon environments?
A: Absolutely! Our gels are for Professional use only
Q:How long do Nail Jam gels typically last without chipping or lifting?
A: Our products are formulated to last up to 21+ days of safe wear , the range with nylon fibre offers up to 28 days of safe wear.
We do not recommend to go longer as nails require regular rebalancing
Q: Can Nail Jam products be safely combined with other brands gels and top coats?
A: We always recommend to stick with same system/ same brand products. If you would like to apply different brand colours over our builder gels the don’t forget to remove sticky layer and buff the surface before application.
Q: Where are Nail Jam products manufactured?
A: All our gels and UV products are manufactured in EU with professionals and chemists with over 20 years experience manufacturing UV gel products. Our non- UV products are made in EU or China. Each of our manufacturers is an established professional in their field, with decades of experience producing high-quality nail products for both domestic and international markets. Every single formula is carefully tested and we are holding the full documentation including SDS/MSDS sheets, PIF, CPSR reports. Our UV gel manufacturers are audited and inspected by LL-C to confirm compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) under ISO 22716 standards. All our products are comply fully with EU and UK cosmetic regulation 1223/2009. All our products are registered on the UK Government’s Cosmetic Product Notification Portal (CPNP)
